My first time at Lismore House Dental and I was greeted warmly by the receptionists. My appointment was with Sarah who was very friendly and helpful which eased my anxiety right from the start. Very impressed with what I've seen so far.

Friendly staff, calm atmosphere, very modern up-to-date practise. Gel on the gum first, absolutely did not feel any pain. I was very nervous but Rebevca was very patient. Overall a great experience.

No pain dental treatment. I had deep pocket gum cleaning yesterday on the right hand side of my mouth. The appointment was on time, staff were all kind and friendly. I'd never had any dental work before with numbing injections and I didn't know what to expect but it was fine. I'd been shown how... to clean my gums by Jackie a month earlier and have put in the effort. Today my mouth feels great. I'm washing my mouth with salt water and keeping my gums clean. Making sure your dentist visit is as good as can be is the aim of everybody here. As soon as you walk in the door you are made welcome. During a long appointment I was offered a choice of ‘comforts’ to make the experience more relaxing in fact I think I did doze at one point, how often can you say... that about a dentist appointment.Lovely place, Rebecca is a very very good dentist. I only ever write reviews when I have been truly impressed. Today I was. I needed an urgent extraction and got a quick booking with Matt Gribbon. He was extremely patient with an old guy with mobility issues. He was detailed in describing the procedure and the possible alternatives if the tooth... proved difficult to extract. Can't recommend Matt and all the staff highly enough, I unfortunately needed 4 extractions and it was as pain-free as possible, despite my teeth being difficult with twisted roots. Matt explained everything at each stage and I was kept pain-free and as relaxed as possible. The reception ... staff were lovely, I'm a wheelchair user and they ensured I had a ground floor room and will put out a ramp for my next visit. I had severe toothache on Friday afternoon. I phoned Lismore and got an appointment for the following Tuesday. My (nearly ex) dentist was shut until Wednesday. I couldn't find a dentist repair my broken denture , rang was seen straight away , 3 month plan to remove some damaged teeth and replace with new denture , I'm 3/4 of the way through and couldn't recommend these guys enough , Matt has looked after me all the way very friendly and knowledgeable

Kindness Homeless Street Team
While winter months prove to be difficult at times for those of us lucky enough to be able to access health services, it has been a particularly challenging time for the homeless community. This is why our Managing Partner, Mark Skimming, decided to step in and help out.
After reading about the outstanding work of Laura McSorley, who started the Glasgow-based Kindness Homeless Street Team in 2019, Mark spoke to our team members and we decided straight away that we wanted to offer some help. It is heartbreaking that so many people are going without essential health care. Oral hygiene is such an important part of our overall well-being. We really want to be respectful to everyone involved in this collaboration and Laura has taken the lead in terms of giving us background information and explaining how best we can use our own skills and resources. Above oral and dental care, of course, we know that how our smiles appear is also a huge part of our confidence and self-esteem. We sincerely hope that by stepping in and providing dental services for the Kindness Homeless Street Team we can really make a difference.
